These sessions will be focused on individual conditioning and quality puck touches in preparation for the AAA tryout process. High repetitions and high intensity will be the priority.

Step 2. Go to the Project Ice Page and use the drop down menu to locate the age group you are wanting to register for. All of the sessions for that age group will then come up and you can register for them using the sign up button. It will automatically use the passes you just purchased to complete the registration.

2008/2009/2010 ages are welcome to join our Project Ice Tryout Prep. Apr 17/18/20 8:15pm at Cambridge Sportspark. Sessions will feature high intensity and a high repetition workouts to help prepare the player for day 1 of tryouts.
Have a good game situational scrimmage and compete in your position the day before your AAA tryout begins. Registered will be (12) Forwards (8) Defence and (2) Goalies.
April 23rd at Cambridge Sportspark - 2pm for 2013-14 and 3pm for 2011-12.
Bring a White and a Dark jersey for this scrimmage session.

Angles are everywhere in the game. Positioning is step #1 in executing proper angling. Stick position steers your opponent and initiates a proper check. Join us for specific instruction that will develop effective habits in all these areas while improving the players timing and game play reaction. Gain contact confidence and begin using your body effectively to finish your checks with purpose while leaving with puck possession. This 4 session series will apply the proper progressions necessary to prepare the player both mentally and physically to give and receive a check.

May 27 - July 8th from 10:30am - 12noon. Open to birth years 2008 through 2015. High repetition puck control skills with proper shooting techniques.
A DIRECT FOCUS ON SKATING DEVELOPMENT through our Sunday Project Ice offerings this summer. Sessions will feature fundamental development of forward and backward stride techniques, proper use of the inside and outside edge, transition skating, agility training and conditioning. 2014-2016 skaters can join us at 12:15pm and 2011-2013 skaters can join us at 1:15pm. Groups will be structured in such a way to maximize appropriate instruction and correction.
Register for package 1 or 2, which is a 5-week plan or register for 10 weeks and receive a complimentary bronze membership for 1-month at the Snipe Academy Cambridge facility. Drop-in sessions are also available.
** The complimentary Bronze Memberships can be applied in May, June or July. If you cancel your registration after using these complimentary passes, you will be charged for the sessions you attended **
Join Project ice Sunday mornings at Dickson Arena in Cambridge for specific stickhandling and shooting instruction with Nate Herrington. These sessions will feature puck control and shooting progressions that reflect our synthetic ice development at Snipe Academy Cambridge. Proper use of the hands, effective transfer and use of weight, puck placement, deception and shot selection will be taught in a game situational mindset. Birth years 2013-14 and 2011-12 will alternate weeks on ice Sunday at 8am. Register for all (11) weeks or consider the right drop in dates for players to focus on the repetitions they can’t achieve in your typical practice setting.

All 2009-2011 & 2012-2014 skaters are welcome to join us on alternating Tuesdays at 5pm at Cambridge Sportspark. Instruction and development planning will be specific to the A/MD/AE/BB skill level. 2009-2011 skaters begin September 20th. 2012-2014 skaters begin September 27th. Join Coach Tristan de Jong each Thursday at Cambriddge Sportpark for a 6-week Defence program that will focus on defensive skating, angling, transitioning, puck movement, puck control, puck protection, escapes and creating offence from the blue line. This will be available to (20) defenders and is exclusive to A-AAA players.
This summer will feature Head Coach Jacob Harris with a direct approach to creating offence. This is a (10) week program running June 29th to Aug 31st at 5:15pm for 2013-2014 & 6:15pm for 2010-2012 ages. Sessions will feature stick handling techniques, puck protection skills, proper shooting habits and game situational offensive attack techniques. Enjoy a (10) week package and (5) week option or join us for a drop in session.

Snipe Academy Cambridge - Project Ice at the fundamental level.
ATTENTION all 2016 & 2017 birth year players.
We are excited to announce a program that focuses on fundamental skill development including skating, puck control, passing and basic game play. Join us through the spring and summer each Saturday morning at Sportsworld/Activa arenas in Kitchener and through (2) separate package options. 6-sessions will be delivered beginning May 27th and ending July 8th, and 6-further sessions offered beginning July 15th and ending Aug 26th. Sessions will feature (50) minutes of skill station development and (20) minutes of scrimmage. Each player registered for a (6) session package will also receive a Snipe Academy jersey.
